I used to use RAW FOOTAGE (a major no no) without any editing! I would post it to youtube and got maybe 100 views a month. Sounds like a lot right? No. If you want to know people are really watching your videos you gotta get at least 500 a day. So, I then switched from RAW FOOTAGE, to fade in, title, footage, fade out. Now when I post that I get maybe 150 views a month! So then I thought... I'm really doing something wrong and I don't know what it is. So I got some help from a friend I like to call the business expert; she said (not exact words but something like this): "If you wanna make popular videos you must take the raw footage and make it into something different. For example, let's say make a video on a survey. McDonalds vs. Burger king. You ask each person 30 questions. I don't want to watch a video that is 20 minutes long" -- Anita Dudek - What she means is that you have to edit some of the middle out. For example, If you re-position your camera while it's recording, we don't need to see that! You can cut that part out (You can use YouTube Editor, or a program like Sony Vegas or iMovie). I don't want to make this post too long. You get the point. Shorten that 20 minute video down to 5 minutes or less.
Short videos make you famous (75% of the time),
